Ultrasound and Doctor Appointment News!

Well, we made it to the ultrasound and to see the doctor today!  Everything looks great!  The baby is doing really well, and is growing like he/she should.

Do you like my feet??

The technician said the baby is 1 lb. 6 oz. and is a little big, so is actually measuring that he/she should be due on April 12th.  The doctor said that since we had already had previous ultrasounds that we would leave the due date as the 18th.

We are so thankful that everything is going well with the baby and can't wait until April!  We even got to see the baby making sucking motions and the technician and doctor said the baby is definitely a mover (must take after Grandma Joyce!!!)!  We also got to hear the heartbeat again and it is beating at 145 beats per minute.

Here are a couple 3D photos...weird, but very cool!!

Immunities are being passed from me to the baby.

Nerve cells for taste, smell, hearing, seeing, and touch are developing in the brain.

Doctor's Appointment Today

We had a doctor's appointment today and everything is going great!

We heard the heartbeat with a doppler.  It was kind of funny watching the doctor try to find the baby's heartbeat because it seemed like his eyes were closed as he was trying to zone in on the baby's heartbeat.  He kept picking up mine on there, but we did hear the "woosh, woosh, woosh" of the baby!  Amazing!!

The doctor also said that I am growing just like I am supposed to and that he isn't worried about my weight with the baby.

So we have an appointment on December 15th...we have an ultrasound that day and can find out the baby's sex if we want.  We have a lot to discuss before the 15th!
