*Scalp hair is apparent and growing!
*Milk teeth buds are growing and permanent teeth are growing underneath them.
*If it's a girl, the uterus is starting to grow. If male, the genitals are recognizable.
*The baby is swallowing amniotic fluid and the kidneys are making urine.
*The baby has the same sleep and awake patterns as a newborn.
*The baby is 6.02 inches and weighs 8.47 ounces!

Can't wait for the next appointment!

Doctor's Appointment Today

We had a doctor's appointment today and everything is going great!

We heard the heartbeat with a doppler.  It was kind of funny watching the doctor try to find the baby's heartbeat because it seemed like his eyes were closed as he was trying to zone in on the baby's heartbeat.  He kept picking up mine on there, but we did hear the "woosh, woosh, woosh" of the baby!  Amazing!!

The doctor also said that I am growing just like I am supposed to and that he isn't worried about my weight with the baby.

So we have an appointment on December 15th...we have an ultrasound that day and can find out the baby's sex if we want.  We have a lot to discuss before the 15th!

We've hit week 16!!

The baby is now the size of an avocado!

He/she is also 4.57 inches and weighs 3.53 ounces.

The heart is pumping about 6 gallons a day.

Bones in the ear are forming and he/she may be able to hear my voice (better watch what I say, huh!).

Next doctor appointment is Nov 17th!
