Well, I'm a little behind in posting this week!

We're already in week 32...8 more weeks...two months! Yikes!! It is going so fast!

Our little one has been kicking a lot lately - especially by my ribs, which is definitely a good thing. :)

Here's what's going on in there...
*Average length is 16.7 inches and 3.75 pounds
*All 5 senses are working
*Toenails are completely formed
*Brain scans have shown babies have periods of REM sleep around now

Appointment today...

and the doctor said everything looks good!

He said I am growing fine.  We got to hear the heartbeat again, which is always such a good sound.  The baby is head down, which is the way she is supposed to be at this point!

So glad everything is good!!

Week 31!

We've only got 9 weeks left...we're in week 31!

We've been really busy lately.  We had our first baby class last week which was called "The Labor Experience."  It definitely had a lot of good information and the labor video wasn't too bad, right Jason? ;)  She is kicking a lot lately, which is still weird to think I have a baby inside me!

We have a doctor appointment on Thursday, so will post when we get back about how it went.

Here's what's going on with the baby...
*The average weight is 3.3 pounds and 16.2 inches!
*Her brain is in another period of rapid growth making hundreds of billions of nerve cells
*Lungs are the last major organ to complete development
*Calcium, phosphorus, and iron are being stored in her bones and are growing and hardening
*She is the size of a squash!

10!!! Weeks left!

We can't believe it, but we are at week 30!!  I can't believe we only have 10 weeks left.  We've got a busy month ahead of us as we are taking lamaze classes and also a couple other classes. We're also taking classes to join the church here!

We have a doctor appointment next week Thursday, so we will definitely update on what's going on with the baby.  She has been kicking up a storm...mostly when I want to be sleeping!

Here's what's going on in week 30:
*She is nearly 3 lbs. now
*Toenails are entering their final growth stage
*She can make tears now - even in the womb!
*Average length is 15.7 inches and 2.91 pounds

Week 29...only 11 left!

Wow! Only 11 weeks left?  That is crazy - it is going so fast!  The baby has been moving around a lot lately...which is definitely a good thing.  She must be taking a nap today as movements have been less, although I am sure it is getting cramped in there!

Here's what's going on this week:
*Her head is in proportion with her body now.
*Fat is accumulating under the skin, preparing her for the real world!
*Her eyes can move and will soon be able to follow a blinking light.
*She is moving from side to side, but probably still head up.  In the next few weeks she will move head down to birthing position.
*Her length is now approx. 15.2 inches and weighs 2.54 lbs.

Feelin' Great at Week 28!

Ok, I know that sounds kinda dorky, but it's true!  I'm feeling great, aside from being a little tired and having some round ligament pain...but I can deal!

Here's what's going on with our little one...

*Eyebrows and eyelashes are noticeable
*Hair is growing longer
*Eyes are completely formed - I can't wait to see what they look like!
*She is getting plump and rounded from muscle tissue and bone.
*Lungs are capable of breathing!
*Average weight is 2.2 lbs. and 14.8 inches!

She is a mover too - I've been feeling tons of movement, especially in the evenings.  Jason has felt her kick too!  Last night she gave a big kick into his hand...VERY cool!
